In 1999 Heather asked me if I’d be interested in helping her co-produce a re-make of Santana’s “Oye Como Va”  but with quite a few modifications. So, I loaded up my equipment and drove to Pelham Manor, NY where we recorded the basic rhythm and vocal tracks.

Back home in Buffalo, NY I added the brass and conga tracks and did the final mixing. It was a great learning experience for me in producing music outside of my expertise. I especially like how the brass turned out.
